AViiQ launches the Portable Charging Station, a 4-port charging solution for your mobile devices such as cellphone, MP3 player, GPS device, tablet. The station offers four USB ports for charging and one of them is a data port that allows for easy syncing and data backup while charging. Its USB ports can charge most mobile devices including the iPad that required 10-watts.
AViiQ Portable Charging Station has multiple internal and external pockets to keep device-specific cables neat and organized. It comes with integrated power adapter so you don’t need to bring all your wall plug anymore. Panasonic is launching in Japan its UT-PB1, an Android-based e-book tablet. The 7-inch device packs dual-core processor and runs Android OS. It has a 1024×600 touchscreen, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, 8GB internal sstorage, a microSD card slot, a USB connector, and built-in speakers. The PB1 supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The Panasonic UT-PB1 is tied to Rakuten’s e-book store Raboo, which will be opened on 10 August. With Android OS, users can also use it for media playback and internet browsing.

Drift Innovation launches the new Drift HD point of view camera, which “elevates the point of view camera market to a higher level with the most feature-rich, multi-functional helmet camera available to date.” The durable and compact camera features a 300-degree rotating lens and 179-degree field of view. It has a water resistant casing.
The Drift HD supports professional-grade 1080p/30fps and 720p/60fps HD video recording as well 8 Megapixel still image shooting. It has a water resistant casing and comes with second rear cover to protect the camera when using an external mic or a USB charger. The Drift HD comes with a 1.5-inch LCD display, built-in microphone and speaker, 2.5mm Mono Plug input, LED recording indicator and micro HDMI connector.
The camera supports multiple mounting options and standard 20 mm thread for tripod. Coming on 31 August, the Drift HD is priced at $369. It comes with universal clip, velcro strap, goggle mount and a remote control.

KDDI au is launching the IS12T Windows Phone by Fujitsu Toshiba, which is the world’s first smartphone to run Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. The new Windows device is powered by Qualcomm MSM8655 processor. It has a 3.7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen and a 13.2 Megapixel CMOS camera.
The Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T supports GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. It works with KDDI’s CDMA EVDO networks and supports global romaing with GSM/GPRS network. It meets IPX5/IPX8 for water-resistant and IP5X for dust resistant. The KDDI au IS12Twill be available in Citrus, Magenta and Black colors.

Samsung is launching in some markets its Galaxy R (aka Galaxy Z) i9103 smartphone, which is the little brother of the Galaxy S II. Instead of Samsung Exynos processor and Super AMOLED touchscreen, the Galaxy R gets NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor and SC-LCD touchscreen with 480×800 resolution, making it a more affordable option.
The Samsung i9103 has 1GB RAM, 2GB ROM and comes with a 8GB microSD card. It features a 4.2-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, 1.3 Megapixel front camera, AGPS/GPS support, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/b connectivity and FM radio. Motorola introduces a new bar-type QWERTY Android smartphone, the Motorola FIRE XT316. Looks a bit like the Palm Pixi/Pixi Plus, the FIRE has a 4-row QWERTY keyboard and a 2.8-inch touchscreen to provide the perfect combination of tools for emailing, texting and browsing the Web. The phone runs Android OS and includes the Moto Switch user interface, which allows users to switch to a friends-centric mode when they finish work and head home for the day.
The FIRE XT316 sports a 3 Megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS support, GPS/A-GPS support, a microSD card slot and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. Like many modern smartphones, the devices packs E-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer. It offers LED notification and 3.5mm jack as well. The 1420mAh battery is enough for up to 8 hours of talk time and 30 days of standby. The Motorola FIRE XT316 will be available in China, Hong Kong and China, and will be released in Latin America as Motorola SPICE Key and in Europe as Motorola FIRE. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA networks.

MSI expands its X-Slim ultra slim notebook line with the new Sandy Bridge-powered X460. The 14-inch laptop is powered by either 2nd gen Intel Core i7-2630QM or Core i5-2410M processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT540M dedicated graphics card with 1GB video memory. It packs DDR3 memory, 500GB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti burner. The MSI X-Slim X460 is 22.2mm thick and weighs 1.98kg.
