Logitech Revue would now cost 100 bucks ($200 less than launch price)

Logitech reduced the price of Revue to $100

Not too long ago, Logitech brought the first ever Google TV product called Logitech Revue in market at a price of $300. If you don't know Google TV is a new platform from Google that combines your TV, entire web, apps and more to give you an integrated entertainment experience.

Since Google TV is a new platform, not too many people were interested in buying Logitech Revue, also it was priced quite high which added up to the reluctance of the consumer. The brand's attempt to launch Logitech Revue as the first ever Google TV gadget, couldn't gain proper attention and therefore the company suffered losses in Q2 this year and began to decrease its price.

Currently, Logitech Revue is priced at $100 which is a good price for such a device, with Google TV being updated with Android Market and Honeycomb it would be interesting to see how well it performs. Also, if you can spend more money to get Google TV for your 60" LED TV then I would suggest you to keep patience, because loads of new gadgets are lined up ahead.

As of now, Logitech's online retailers are showing the price of Logitech Revue as $250, but I think these listing would soon get updated.

Android holds 39% of Smartphone Share in US, followed by 28% of Apple

According to a recent study conducted by Nielsen Corp. it came out that Android is most used OS in United States, it holds nearly 39% of Smartphone Market in US.

Recently it came to my knowledge that Apple has overtaken Nokia to become the "biggest producer of Smartphone in the world", Apple is the biggest Smartphone Manufacturer in US too but is pick of only 28% of the Smartphone users (which is a fabulous achievement, Apple is addicted to all this).

Apple iPhone is one of the most sought after phone not just in America, but all over the world, Android with support from Smartphone makers like HTC, Motorola and Samsung has reserved a big chunk of US Smartphone Users' pie for itself.

RIM, known for BlackBerry and dedicated business mobile phones have hold onto 20% of Smartphone market share, followed by Windows Phone 7 with 9%. Palm webOS and Symbian both rest at the bottom with 2% each (Palm webOS is quite new and Symbian is quite old, so this does make sense).

This research was conducted with a user base of around 20,000 people but still it indicates the popularity of Android Smartphone in America.
