Apple iPhone 5 to launch this September, iPad 3 delayed for next year

Posted: 28 Jul 2011 04:04 AM PDT

Apple iPhone 5 Release Date, iPad 3 Launch Delayed

According to the latest reports unveiled by China Times, it is expected that Apple iPhone 5, the much awaited iOS 5 running Smartphone would launched in September. It claims that 4 million units would be put up on sale on the day of launch, seeing the popularity of iPhone and Apple around the world, I don't think these "4 million iPhone 5" Smartphones would last long.

The report also suggest that Apple is going to launch iPad 3 next year because of component shortages.

Many rumors in the blogosphere are suggesting that release date of iPhone 5 is going to be in second week of September, iOS 5 would also be released around same time, is this a coincidence?

Well, Apple would be recruiting sales staff throughout UK from August who would be trained under Apple and be ready for the iPhone 5 launch, it seems Apple's going to target major areas of UK this year as well.

The rumors reported in China Times are fair, sometimes they go right, sometimes the other way around. I think Apple would launch iPhone 5 around Christmas, with packed offers on its iPad 2.

Buy White Samsung Galaxy SII Smartphone at Clove UK

Samsung Galaxy SII has become very popular this week, although it is a very good Smartphone which indicates it is already very popular but still a lot of rumors, new models and stuff is coming out for this dual core Smartphone.

Well, black is most common color associated with Smartphones, not only with Smartphones but with most of the gadgets. The only gadget that look beautiful in White (Silvery White) is the Apple MacBook Pro but now can buy Samsung Galaxy SII in white too.

Samsung Galaxy SII White Smartphone can now be purchase at Clove UK Store (this privilege is only available to lucky kids who have taken birth in United Kingdom) but after 15th of August (that’s my country’s Independence Day). The specs are identical just the color has changed. White Galaxy SII looks pretty decent, with some design on the back panel, it would have looked stunning, what do you think?

Samsung Galaxy SII coming soon to AT&T with a slide-out QWERTY

Posted: 27 Jul 2011 07:23 AM PDT

Samsung Galaxy SII, AT&T, slide-out QWERTY keyboard

Aha! It seems my guesswork is not that bad, the rumored AT&T Smartphone that I blogged about yesterday is the AT&T's version of Samsung Galaxy II, unlike the original Galaxy SII Smartphone, this one would be having a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

It seems that AT&T's Samsung Galaxy SII Smartphone a.k.a. Samsung Attain would be hitting AT&T stores next month, the official date is not confirmed yet.

On the other hand Verizon, one of major competitors of AT&T in United States in also planning to launch Samsung Galaxy SII under the name of Samsung Function, it's official that this Gingerbread Smartphone would be hitting Verizon Stores on 12th of August. Although, I am not sure whether it would be having a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Several Leaked images of Samsung Attain has been blogged by Boy Genius Report and the images suggest the Smartphone is a replica of Samsung Galaxy SII in terms of configuration.

The leaked images suggest that Samsung Attain has model number SGH-I927 and runs on Android v2.3.4 Gingerbread. Although it would be heavier than Original Samsung Galaxy SII (with no slide-out QWERTY Keyboard) but still quite lighter than other Smartphones that accompany a slide-out QWERTY Keyboard.

The Hardware specs on Samsung Attain are exactly the same as on Original Samsung Galaxy SII, check them out:-

Samsung Attain Tech Specs

  • Android OS v2.3.4 Gingerbread (as mentioned before)
  • 1.2-GHz dual core processor (some rumors suggest it would be upgraded to 1.4GHz to take on iPhone 5)
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 8-megapixel primary camera with dual LED flash
  • 2-megapixel secondary camera
  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen
  • Slide-out QWERTY keyboard

Reactions on this "new" slide-out Galaxy SII have been mixed, some love while some don't. I don't mind using Swype for typing messages and emails, and since I don't do it often, I would prefer the Original Galaxy SII, what about you?
